Okay I might explicitly warn them away from it, because I don't think another me and me should ever be in the same space at the same time for everyone's safety. I don't like people half the time. You think that stops because it's another me?

[ Billy's about to reply that he thinks Tommy has a point regarding The Other Tommys in the multiverse when he receives the rapid fire of texts. If his twin were here beside him, he'd hear his thoughts in fast succession. ]

I felt really awful. I still do whenever I think about it. I was trying to make it up to him before coming here and then this happens.

[ Billy hasn’t even thought that far ahead yet, what the implications of actually forgetting someone could do to That Someone given his powers. He just feels terrible that it happened and had cried a few times alone somewhere in the forest outskirts. Good on Tommy for deleting the message because fully realizing that will probably break him a little bit more.

So let’s pivot a bit because he can’t afford to spiral now. He’ll just take note of talking to someone about this later like Tommy suggested. ]

I'm the wrong person to ask. I missed the whole thing. One second David and me were creeping around after work after fake Patriot, and the next we were - we weren't. We were at a party that Loki says they threw, but I didn't see Loki at all and I did a full circuit.

Why not believe Loki? It's not like there's anyone else to believe, and Loki's trying to get in good with the fae. If you haven't noticed, a lot of people don't trust us either, and they sideeye you all the time.

I'm not saying make him your bestie. I'm just saying that there's no better option and it's SOMETHING. They're powerful and we all want to go home.

I’m trying to NICELY say that we can use Loki for info. Just take it as one viewpoint. Because that’s all it is. Yeah okay Loki’s sneaky. But we know he’s sneaky. It’d be like borrowing tech from Doom. Of course he’s going to -

[ Try to kill us. Tommy can’t finish the sentence, so abruptly swerves again. ]

Like you could trust most of them even if they WERE from our universe? You ever think about how the Avengers knew where I was and didn’t care? Or how quick they get judgy about powers like yours?

At least the judgy won’t waft off them like a fart.

I can’t either, because I missed the whole thing, and I’m the only who wanted to keep it going in the first place. No, actually - that’s why I CAN believe it.
