So, I think there might be another me in this place. That, and another version of Magneto and Wanda.

I hate everything I just read. But I knew most of it. What's other-Mags like?

Younger and sadder. He doesn't believe we're somehow related back home. Not that I can blame him. He says he doesn't have any family in his universe.

Younger I can get. But it's not like he didn't have a kinda sad life at home already. How can it get worse?

I don't think he knew he had most of his family until... I don't know when. But he only found out about us in the past year like everybody else. How young is young?

[incant]

I just feel the sadness. I really don't know how it's worse. And I'm not gonna read someone's mind without their consent just to know.

Anyway, that's what my guess is for now. There's probably a Wanda or a Pietro in his universe and he just hasn't met them yet. Maybe a Lorna, too.

Oh, and young is maybe in his 60s?

Can you try not feeling the sadness? I don't know if that's the best part of your power.

So he's a deadbeat dad in every universe. I don't know what to think of that. That's way too old to not realize you have adult children.

And I hope it's not a Wanda or a Pietro. I think it has to be both if we're going to exist.

I'll try not to.

We don't know for sure if he's a deadbeat dad, though. There's also the possibility that people in his life are already dead.

Which is worse. Maybe that explains why he's sad. But that's worse for us too because if there's a Wanda and a Pietro in his universe, that means they're dead.

Speaking of Pietro, I think he's also here.

If they were dead and he knew about them and wasn't a deadbeat, you'd think he'd be happy when the good grandson bounced in all mazel tov, Zedye.

Ugh. Seriously? He's annoying. Is it at least the RIGHT Pietro? He doesn't really take things well, so I'd rather not deal with a wrong one. You could magic me into a redhead and I'll pretend to have visions of the future or something that nobody's going to know it isn't a power.

You know, the more we talk about this, the more I'm getting curious. And the more I believe we probably don't even exist in his universe.

Well, I haven't really talked to him yet. I just felt him here and it's a bit different so I don't think it's the right one. But yeah sure, if you wanna be a redhead when you meet him, that's easy enough for me to do.

The more we talk about it, the more I want to avoid all of them, but I can't do that. You ever want to be the kind of twins that switch places?

In this situation, yeah.

We haven't even talked about the other me I mentioned earlier.

Do we have to talk about other you? He's you. How much could there be to say?

But we can't call him other you. You're Billy; he's Will, and all three of us are escatic that I'm the only me.

You're not having an identity crisis or anything, yeah? How different could he be?

Well, knowing how powerful the fae can be, they might also drag another you here.

But really, I'm not having some crisis or anything. It's just that he's denying it. Not that I can blame him. The concept of the multiverse is kinda wack if you don't know about it yet.

There's something else, though. I can't put my finger on it.

I think both Pietro and Wanda aren’t here anymore.

[ There's a precise moment between normal rapidfire Tommy texts and texts that aren't getting answered because Tommy's attention is fully occupied by what's around him (or sleep). This teeny little gap in which the response is quick enough that you know he wasn't otherwise engaged but instead struggled to find words. He doesn't know that the moment is now, and sends the message. ]

What about William?

[ Yup, Billy knows that teeny little gap quite well. ]

Still here. His name is still on the door next to my room.

Good.

[ That's more like it, speedwise, that almost too quick full steam ahead never think never beg forgiveness response.

But he realizes that it might sound like he doesn't want William to be home where he's maybe safer. ]

Not that I want him kidnapped - or you - but if I'm here, you're here and I don't know what "not here" means.

Appreciate it a lot, Tommy.

[ Because finding out both twins are now gone (not that he didn’t feel Pietro’s actually gone a month back) stings and puts into question if one of them’s next. ]

It’s been on my mind ever since I found out. Kept thinking about it. None of us should be stuck here without the other.

William doesn't have the option of being stuck anywhere with Thomas.

I know.

What happened to them was horrible.

He did something at one of the parties and I saw it from my - Thomas' perspective.

I saw it too.

Was too horrified that I teleported away after seeing it.

I talked to him afterwards. He said it was after Wanda did something he called The Hex. Capital letters were audible.

Did he explain what this hex was about?

[ Billy regrets not talking to William afterwards but he was so spooked by William’s last line in that memory that the teleport was out of panic. It reminded him so much of when he lost his temper at the Warden.

Suffice to say, it still haunts his dreams sometimes. ]

Something like she took over a town called Westview and the rest of the townies were trapped there. He's said that's where she had us. Might've screwed up telling him it wasn't the same for me - it's not like there's RULES about talking to him.

There was something else. A morgue. I thought it wasn't a prison but he corrected me. Said that William Kaplan died in a car crash. And I drowned.

[ Wrong subject. Tommy flinches, wherever he is, and tries to correct it. Just because he experienced it doesn't mean it was him. He's fine. ]

I mean Thomas Shepherd drowned.
